The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, are an annual awards ceremony celebrating achievements of artistic and technical merit in the film industry.
2020 (92nd Academy Awards)[]
Although Billie Eilish was not nominated for any awards, she performed a cover of Yesterday by the Beatles for the "In Memoriam" segment of the 92nd Academy Awards on February 9th, 2020. Finneas O'Connell and Claudia Sulewski were also in attendance.
- According to Billie and Finneas, they were most excited to meet Shia LaBeouf.[1]
- In an interview on the red carpet, Billie stated that No Time to Die would be a ballad-type song.[1]
- In 2020, Billie's entire outfit was from Chanel, while Finneas' outfit was from Gucci.
- On the Oscars Instagram story, a video could be seen of Billie and Finneas coming off stage after performing.[2]
2022 (94th Academy Awards)[]
At the 94th Academy awards, Billie and Finneas performed the single "No Time To Die".
They were nominated and won the award for Best Original Song.
2024 (96th Academy Awards)[]
At the 96th Academy awards, Billie and Finneas performed the single "What Was I Made For?".
They were nominated and won the award for Best Original Song.
