"i don't know, i just wish i wasn't breathing" is an unreleased song by Billie Eilish. It was intended to be on her debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, however, it was later scrapped.

Two snippets of the song were added to her Instagram story on June 29, 2018.

The song was supposedly originally intended to be before "listen before i go" on the tracklist, to create the sentence "I don't know, I just wish I wasn't breathing / listen before i go / i love you / goodbye". This carries themes of suicide, which are also present in the album and the song "everything i wanted"

According to Billie, she never finished writing the track and discarded it.
