"Listen Before I Go", stylized as "listen before i go", is the twelfth track by Billie Eilish featured on her debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?. It was first performed at a concert in Melbourne.
This song is about Billie telling her lover to listen to what she has to say before she commits suicide. She wants him to come see her and hear her final wishes before she dies.
Billie urges him to inform her friends about what she plans to do, saying, "Tell them that I love them/And I'll miss them". She at first says she isn't sorry, however, the final line of the song is "Sorry", implying that she feels regret for what she is about to do and how it will affect her loved ones.
- The song's original title was l i s t e n.
- Ambulance sirens, screaming, and children playing can be heard throughout the song.
- "listen before i go" was the first song Billie and Finneas wrote together
