"Vertigo" is an unreleased song by Cheat Codes featuring Billie Eilish. This was recorded during the sessions for the extended play (EP) dont smile at me, however, it was most likely never intended to be part of the project and was scrapped.

A snippet of the song leaked on February 22nd, 2020. It is also registered on BMI Repertoire. A demo for the song leaked on September 11, 2023. The final version, along with a few more demos, leaked on March 17, 2024.

Background

"Vertigo" was likely recorded in January 2016 during the same session as "Welcome", as Eilish posted a photo on Facebook with the caption "makin bangers with Cheat Codes today..." on January 12, 2016.

The full demo version of the song was leaked in a Telegram group, but was then publicly posted on the site Leaked.Cx on September 11, 2023.
